  • Selected Publications

    Prof. Vidale has authored about 15 books, and 5 edited volumes, in English, Italian and other languages on ancient oriental civilizations. He has contributed to dozens of voices in scientific encyclopaedias and authored or co-authored about 350 articles on specialized archaeological journals, including major refereed journals. Among these latter he has published the results his research in Nature, Science, Antiquity, World Archaeology, Man and Environment, South Asian Studies, Paléorient, Iran, Iranica Antiqua, Archäologische Mitteilungen aus Iran und Turan, Praeistorische Zeitschrift. He is also deeply involved in publicizing the most recent results of archaeological research on popular archaeological jourbnals and magazines.
