He is a professor in the Centre for Management in agriculture at IIM Ahmedabad. He works towards ensuring recognition, respect and reward for grassroot inventors and innovators at a local, national and global level and for protection of their Intellectual property rights. He is the executive Vice-Chair of National Innovation Foundation and founder of Honey Bee network. He is also the co-ordinator of SRISTI (Society for Research and Initiative for Sustainable Technologies and Institutions). He was also a speaker at TED India in November, 2009.

He is currently an innovation professional with 21 years of international experience in Product innovation and development with 13 pending patents and 1 granted patent. He is the Vice Chairperson of IEEE- Bangalore and Chairperson of IEEE Consumer Electronics Bangalore chapter. He has worked with BPL, Philips, NXP semiconductors and Trident Microsystems.
Dr. Tara Nair , Professor (GIDR), MPhil (Economics), PhD (Applied Economics)
She is currently working as a Professor at Gujarat Institute of Development Research. She has served as Head (Research), Friends of Women’s World Banking and as an associate professor, Institute of Rural Management, Anand. Her interest has been towards research pertaining to issues in policy and institutional development in the areas of pro-poor financial services, rural innovation, women and development, financial behavior or of tribal households. She has undertaken primary research across Indian states and countries like Bangladesh and Myanmar, and consulted many national and international programmes/organizations including International Labour Organisation, CHF International, International Fund for Agricultural Development, Aga Khan Rural Support Programme, HIVOS, CORDAID and Grameen Foundation.
Rajagopalan Srinivasan , Professor (Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT-GN), B.Tech (IIT Madras), PhD (Purdue Universiy)
He is currently working as a professor in Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar. His research interests include safe and environmentally benign process design and operations, supply chain management and enterprise optimization and computational Systems Biology. He has worked as a research associate with Honeywell Technology Center, Minneapolis, as a visiting associate professor in IIT Bombay, Imperial College, London and National University Singapore.
