Being a new IIT gives us unprecedented opportunities to work together and build an Institute which is a centre for excellence in education and research. Working with undergraduate students, the Institute’s resolve has been to develop well-rounded individuals who, in addition to an exhaustive technical education, are aware of the global and national environment, possess leadership qualities, and are socially responsible citizens. We place a strong emphasis on developing the problem solving and analytical abilities of our students, which enables them to quickly grasp fundamentals of a problem and structure a logical solution. After four years of a well-rounded technical education, exposure to practical experiences in industry & academic institutions, and access to ideas and thoughts of some of the eminent thinkers, we are confident that the students will excel at any position that they are assigned.
