Who can attend?

The Summer School is a highly selective residential program. The Summer School is targeted primarily to Faculty members & Students at Colleges/Universities.

Selection Procedure

Successful candidates will be announced on the website & communicated through email by May 25.

However, please note that ALL successful applicants will be required to pay a refundable holding fee of Rs 700/-. The holding fee will be returned to the candidates after the successful completion of Summer School on the last day. In case, candidates fail to join the Summer School, the fee will be forfeited. The payment mode will be uploaded shortly.

The Summer School will be held on IITGN’s permanent campus in Gandhinagar (see details on the 'contact us' page). All successful participants will be required to arrange their own travel to Gandhinagar.

Please Note - Most of the faculty members from TEQIP listed colleges will be given confirmation. It is encouraged to make advance travel arrangements.

Certificates

Certificate will be awarded for successful completion of two weeks program in each course.

Other Terms & Conditions -

1. For Accommodation - Participants can be accommodated in the non air-conditioned students hostel.
2. For Food - Participants will be given an allowance of Rs.150/- per day or food coupons for 12 days towards partial defrayment of food expenses. Participants will find several canteens and food kiosks on campus.
3. For Travel - Limited Travel reimbursements up to Rs 2000/-(Max) on actuals may be given to the participants. (in case of no support available from the parent organization)
4. IITGN will not provide any support for extra travel cost, such costs will have to be managed by the participants through their college or on by their own.
5. IITGN will not provide any support for hotel accommodation of the participants, such allowances will have to be managd by the participants through their college or on by their own.
6. Generally one student will be selected per faculty participant from the same college.
