Research Interest
  • Developing novel macrocyclic receptors for molecular recognition studies, their synthesis and characterization.
  • Design, synthesis and characterization of molecular systems with interesting properties, such as NLO materials for applications in molecular level devices and photonics.
  • Design, synthesis and characterization of expanded porphyrnoids and related macrocycles with novel properties, like near IR dyes or having biological applications such as photo-sensitizers for PDT.
