Research Interest

Developing novel macrocyclic receptors for molecular recognition studies, their synthesis and characterization.
Design, synthesis and characterization of molecular systems with interesting properties, such as NLO materials for applications in molecular level devices and photonics.
Design, synthesis and characterization of expanded porphyrnoids and related macrocycles with novel properties, like near IR dyes or having biological applications such as photo-sensitizers for PDT.
